Default recording issues for new farming build

just bought fraps and i made a video of a new farming method ive been using
However its a bit over 1 min long and 273mb ...I have the recording rate at the lowest possbile ... 25 fps and "half" size

Any ideas on what i can do to fix this? id like to maintain some resolution but a 1 min clip shouldnt be anymore than 30mb and still have excellent quality

I don't believe Fraps compresses its captured video at all, which is why it's so huge. Find a program that will let you convert it to a higher-compression codec, like MPEG4 or DIVX. I like EO Video, it's pretty straightforward and easy to use, and I'm pretty sure it's got a free trial for the converter.

Fraps does its own FPS1 codec for video compression but it doesn't do that much. One minute used to take almost one gigabyte when uncompressed.

Yes, its merely compression, a simple conversion is fine for your problem.

Anyway, 1 minute long video is about 1 gigabyte. Noone today really knows that anymore because Compression is so good and strong without losing much quality.
